Ben Förtsch is the CEO of Hotel Luise in Erlangen, leading the family business in its third generation. With a degree in business administration and economic psychology from Nuremberg, he gained international experience in consulting and event management before taking over the hotel at just 25. Under his leadership, Hotel Luise has become a pioneer in sustainability, implementing over 270 measures aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), all documented on the “Wall of Change.” Beyond his role as a hotelier, Ben is a speaker, photographer, and lecturer, advocating for innovative concepts such as circular economy and the Cradle-to-Cradle principle. His mission: to drive sustainability and digitalization in the hospitality industry, creating a positive impact on society and the environment.
