As a Victoria City Councillor and CRD Director, Jeremy achieved impactful results in affordable housing, climate change, active transportation, arts and culture, and EDIA initiatives. In his role as Executive Director of Public Affairs, Destination Stewardship, and Sustainability at Destination Greater Victoria, he spearheads strategic initiatives that ensure community and government support for sustainable tourism, fostering a visitor economy aligned with community values, and delivering shared benefits.

Jeremy holds an MBA with Distinction from the University of Bradford, focusing on Innovation, Enterprise, and the Circular Economy. His governance experience includes roles as Trustee of the Greater Victoria Public Library, Board member of the Greater Victoria Coalition to End Homelessness, Chair of the CRD Arts Commission, and Chair of the Capital Regional Housing Corporation.

In the non-profit sector, Jeremy has excelled as a community development coordinator, consistently exceeding fundraising targets. As an independent consultant, he has worked with clients across North America as a strategic advisor, facilitator, keynote speaker, and award-winning poet. He is also a dedicated mentor for youth through Victorious Voices, a youth spoken word festival he founded and organized for 13 years.
