WHEN 2022 - 2025

WeNaTour is a three year European initiative funded through the Erasmus+ program. It involves 12 partners from 5 countries. The program is aimed at training new professionals for sustainable tourism and exploring emerging markets, while keeping the well-being of local communities and the preservation of the environment at the core of its strategies, towards a more responsible and sustainable future.

TraininngAid provides technical support in areas such as training program development, course content design, and training material quality management. Our work in learning design and capacity building applies approaches based on the sustainability principles, including participatory and collaborative stakeholder engagement processes.

WeNaTour Project: The European Alliance for Innovation and Sustainability Education in Welfare, Nature and Tourism

Enhancing the European educational offer in the field of sustainable tourism and destination management through:

• New resources: Researching trends and needs with case studies, reports, market outlooks, training needs assessments.
• Training: An online training course for students and professionals; A field-based specialization school for selected students; and Vocational Education Trainings (VET).
• Corporate Social Responsibility and Company Welfare opportunities: Increasing the positive impact of companies and employees on the environment and local communities.
